FULL ITINERARY

DAY 1 – Oct 2 – Welcome to Portugal! Arrive at Lisbon Airport (LIS) and your host will bring you to your accommodation in Lisbon. After settling in, join your travel companions for a meet and greet Welcome Party

Note: We recommend leaving the US on Oct 1 so that your flight arrives the morning/afternoon of Oct 2 – early enough to join your group for the Welcome Party on Day 1. Should you wish to arrive on Oct 1st instead, pre-trip hotel charges will be added to your final bill.

DAY 2 – Oct 3 – On our way to Porto, we will take a guided tour up the Silver Coast and stop along the way in Nazare; one of Portugals original fishing towns and some of the biggest waves in the world. And Obidos; a charming and well-preserved walled village with a Moorish castle.

DAY 3 – Oct 4 – Today enjoy the UNESCO listed streets of Porto followed by a Tour of the Mercado do Bolhao and a walking food and drinks tour showcasing the specialties of the city.

DAY 4 – Oct 5 –A trip to the Douro Valley, one of Portugal’s best wine country regions. Tour local wine makers and taste some of the regions best products. We will finish with a Cruise to view the sunset and Porto’ 6 bridges along the Douro River and a casual group dinner.

DAY 5 – Oct 6–FREE day!! Take your last time in Porto to see anything you missed.

DAY 6 – Oct 7 – After a morning train ride from Porto, a day of exploration awaits! Embark on a private Tuk Tuk tour, venturing across the city. Explore the Historic center of Lisbon, the Bairro Alto neighborhood, the Jeronimos Monastery and beautiful viewpoints all around the city.

DAY 7 – Oct 8– a day trip from Lisbon to the enchanting town of Sintra, This beautiful tour includes beautiful landscapes, ancient buildings and breathtaking views. Tour two UNESCO listed sites including Pena Palace, one of Portugal's most well known castles and much more.

DAY 8 – Oct 9–FREE Day!! Take everything you have seen and learned about Lisbon and dive deeper, or just relax and stroll the city. Lunch and Dinner are on your own.

DAY 9 – Oct 10– in the morning we will take in more of iconic Lisbon, Europe’s 2nd oldest capital city. In the afternoon, learn from a local baker how to make Pastel de Nata; Portugal’s famous Custard Tarts. The day ends with our last Dinner together in Portugal. Bid farewell to the new friends we meet over a delicious dinner, cherishing the memories and connections made on this unforgettable journey.

DAY 10 – Oct 11– Departure day. Host will make arrangements to help get you to the airport of your choice for your flight to the US.
